About me (Ashby McGowan)
I left Possilpark in 1973 with one Higher, 7 O grades and lots of bruises from being bullied!
I am now trying to get in touch with people I didn't know very well then but might be able to become friends with now.
I am male, 46, and a Buddhist. My interests are vegetarianism (I am a vegan), playing the drums, writing, reading, history research, cycling, chess and snorkelling.
I became slightly famous after finding out some intimate details about William Wallace.
I went to Possilpark after my father decided to take me out of City Public and to toughen me up (I was into poetry and that sort of thing). Instead of toughening up, I learnt how to run.

Planned Reunions!
Our first reunion was held on Saturday, 9th of March in the Havana. Eighteen people turned up and we had a nice night. A few people thought that next reunion, some people would want to wear School uniform. Honest! I didn't know we had a School uniform. I arrived at 7PM and was exhausted by 12. Most people stayed to half eleven. |
